Cappamore Agricultural Show
Runnning since 1954, Cappamore Agricultural Show is one of Ireland’s leading one day shows, and is very highly regarded among exhibitors and regular show supporters throughout the Munster region, and nationally. Cappamore Show incorporates displays and competitions in areas such as cookery, crafts, agricultural and horticultural produce, and other areas that draw on the traditional skills, arts and crafts of the region, as well as more traditional show sections such as cattle and horse showing, and jumping classes.

Doneraile Arts Festival
DAFT 2020 was going to be packed with much more fun and great plans, with more crafting, new experiences and a continuation of exploring our creativity as a community. It was decided to cancel the festival for 2020.
Charleville Agricultural Show
Charleville Show is the largest two day agricultural show in the country with numerous interesting events to be seen, varying from judging of cattle, horses, sheep, horticulture, dogs, arts & crafts, cookery and numerous children’s competitions.

Indiependence Music Festival Mitchelstown
Indiependence is a festival "weekender" which takes place on the outskirts of Mitchelstown in northern County Cork each year on the August Bank Holiday weekend. The festival features a wide variety of artists as well as comedy, spoken word, a small cinema and other attractions. INDIE, as it is known, has been shortlisted as one of the best small festivals in Europe several times as well as winning awards within Ireland.

The Biking Blitz is a mass start cross country mountain bike event, aimed primarily at beginners but with something for everyone. Round two will be held at Ireland's oldest mountain biking trail centre in the Ballyhoura Mountains.

Dreams Festival- Bruff
‘Dreams’ Festival in Bruff Co.Limerick is ran by the community of Bruff to celebrate the birthday of Dolores O’Riordan. Taking place on the 5th - 7th of September 2020. Second year of the annual dreams festival.

Canon Sheehan Yoga Walk
The Canon Sheehan Loop Walk is situated in the Ballyhouras, an area of natural beauty. The walk is a 5km loop walk, through a wooded area and 20 mins on a local road taking in stunning scenic views. A walk through the woods at a relaxed pace incorporating gentle yoga, breathing exercises and meditation which will calm the mind and help to feel more at ease.

Celebrating National Heritage Week in Ballyhoura Country
To celebrate National Heritage Week 2020, you have now an opportunity to enjoy some excellent guided tours and exhibitions that are on offer in Ballyhoura Country. Heritage Week is an annual nationwide set of events organized by the Heritage Council in Ireland. They are a celebration of Ireland's culture, history, gardens, and architecture that gives visitors free access to landmarks that are either usually pay to enter or not open to the public.
