Launch of New Ballyhoura Nature Trail Experience

It was a crisp morning on December 19th just before the Christmas festivities, but this did not dissuade the many girls and boys, who along with their families joined Ballyhoura Beo for a woodland Nature Walk and Bauble Hunt to mark the launch of the new Nature Trail.

It was a great chance for people to get some fresh air while discovering the newly erected nature and native wildlife signage along the 2km Ballyhoura Nature Trail. The free Bauble hunt event had many families set out on their own searching high and low.

The Ballyhoura Nature Trail is a 2km investigation of over 20 hidden creatures in the woods that kiddies have to uncover on their walk.

The start point of the trail is located at the car park and it is a wonderful way for children to investigate the many creatures that live in the forest.

The New Nature Trail trail is now available for all to visit and can be found at the Ballyhoura Trail Head and Mountain Bike Centre.
