Slievereagh Loop Walk
Enquire

The walk begins in the village of Kilfinane on quiet country roads before heading towards Ballyriggan through a magnificent, serene mature forest. Before diving down into the depths of the forest to cross a little stream, there is a meadow in the heart of the woodland with old standing stones. Once out of the woodland, the trail follows a forestry road for about 800 meters before veering left and taking a new path where there are two benches to sit and enjoy the views.

Continue on until you see a dog leg for the Pinnacle of Slieve Reagh. The walk continues for a while further, and you will come upon the Lazy Dog Shooting (clay pigeon shooting) on your right. Soon after, the route rejoins the main forestry road, and the walker is greeted by views of the Ballyhoura countryside in front of them. The trail returns to Kilfinane after looping back to Killeen.
