Old Irish Ways Museum has an impressive collection of antique, historical and novel items dating from Pre-Famine times to more nostalgic items from our more recent past. It provides a fantastic insight into how past generations lived in Ireland. Visitors can gain an understanding of country life including the importance of agriculture, crafts and trades and how the tools and equipment used have developed over the centuries. All items are on open display.
Display areas include: Railway- Post - Office - Shop - Pharmacy - Creamery - Forge - Hardware Shop - Cobblers Shop - Wood Turning - Classroom - Kitchen cum bedroom - Bar.

There are also some vintage tractors, as well as a vast selection of old tools and oil cans. Tours are relaxed and easily paced affording people the opportunity to gain maximum benefit from their visit. As you explore the hundreds of items in the museum which extends to 2 floors, you can avail of the extensive knowledge of Mr Old Irish Ways himself - Denis who is always on hand to discuss and or demonstrate his artefacts, usually with interesting anecdotes.
