Experience life in a charming two storey 19th-century cottage where you can relax and enjoy the views of the undulating countryside of the Ballyhoura region. This is an ideal spot from which to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, taking in the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Mai’s Cottage Suite sleeps four in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with log stove. You'll have the entire suite to yourself, and whilst the cottage suite adjoins the main residence, you have your own separate entrance with private parking and a garden area looking out onto the beautiful hills.

The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, and washer/dryer. It is well stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses, and cooking utensils and a table that seats four people. The sitting room offers the chance to step back in time and relax in front of the cosy, wood fired stove or perhaps lose yourself in a good book.

Upstairs is the main bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and blackout blinds. A second bedroom with bunkbeds, which sleeps two, and the bathroom with electric shower over the bath, hand basin and sink.

Outdoors is a garden area with outdoor seating and parking space. There is access to a secure garage for bikes & outdoor equipment if required.

Nearby activities include Ballyhoura Walking Loops, Mountain Biking Trails, and Horse Trekking. The leisurely walking routes including fairy trails, estate gardens, historical buildings, and ancient mythical monuments steeped in history and local folklore. Foodies can also enjoy all the beautiful restaurants that are in nearby locations. Spruce and Willow, Thatch and Thyme, Cafe Town House Doneraile & Molly's Restaurant in Kilfinane.
