“Old Chapel Rooms” venue is a wonderful renovated Church Of Ireland building formerly known as St. Andrews Church of Ireland. It was brought to life by a dedicated group of local volunteers who went on to secure funding from LEADER.

It is located in the picturesque village of Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, and is well-positioned on the border with Cork and Tipperary. It enjoys stunning views as it’s nestled among the Ballyhoura Mountains.

The venue is home to WestEnd Drama, and Ballyhoura CCE’s “Hup na Houra”. The atmospheric venue lends itself to such performances and many a magical night was had with performers such as Iarla O Lionaird, Brendan Grace, Delorentos to name but a few.

It is available for hire and is used for a range of activities including dance class, yoga, concerts, and children’s parties.

The Old Chapel Rooms is available for civil ceremonies and funerals. However, please note that religious ceremonies are not permitted. Catering is available upon request.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and is a unique space for conferences, business, and community meetings. It is finished with an impressive staged area, spacious toilet facilities, and a kitchen area.

The former church is owned by a not-for-profit company and is registered under Kilfinane Community Projects CLG. The voluntary committee is consistently working at improving the centre and hosting new events.
