Good spot in the lovely town of Bruff! You can spend the day exploring Lough Gur, exploring the lake and the many sites you can get to by car. Clancy's is a short drive from the site and you are greeted by a welcoming staff and charming pub.
Outside Clancy’s bar, there is a plaque commemorating the friendship between the writer James Joyce and George Clancy. Clancy was born in Grange near Bruff and attended University College Dublin with Joyce in 1900.
