In the Ballyhoura region, there are excellent camps to choose from, Visitors are invited to explore and register for various camping experiences.
Camp experiences typically include opportunities for teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership development. They offer a setting where children can grow to be independent and self-confident.
Castleconnell Boat Club Summer Camps 2024
Events Dates: June 17th marks the start of weekly events throughout the summer.

CCBC run Easter, Summer and October mid-term rowing camps for young people ages 11 to 17. The camps are great fun and are a very good introduction to all facets of rowing – from safety to technique and of course, fun!
Rowers must be 11 years old by the start of the camp week to participate. Swimming competency is required. This means children must be able to swim 50m and will not panic if they enter the water unexpectedly.

Star Camps – Mitchelstown C.B.S.

Star Camps has a wide range of activities from art and crafts, dance, music and much more
This camp is open to boys and girls ages 4 to 12. recommend that if your child is not already in Primary school, that they are at least beginning their 2nd year of the ECCE Scheme. They will be sub divided by age and the program will vary to suit. Children should wear comfortable clothes / shoes and bring a packed lunch & plenty to drink, as they will be very active. There will be 2 supervised lunch breaks.
