Saint George's Arts and Heritage Centre Events

Saint George’s Arts and Heritage Centre is located in the former Church of Ireland parish church in Mitchelstown and it was deconsecrated in August 2017.

The centre is a focal point for historical, genealogical, cultural and heritage events and it is also a unique venue for theatrical, dramatic and musical activities including Irish song music and dance.

Saint George's will host an evening of chamber music in association with Ortús Chamber Music Festival.

The festival, founded in 2016 by renowned Irish musicians Sinéad O’Halloran and Mairéad Hickey, was set up with the goal of providing performance platforms for some of Ireland’s finest young musicians alongside their international peers. Committed to highlighting the achievements of Irish musicians and composers on the world stage.
