Kilfinane Coshlea Historical Society 2024 Events
Kifinane Coshlea Historical Society are a voluntary organisation founded in 1999, with the aim of researching and collecting the local and family history of the area. Since the society was formed, they have produced six journals and erected a statue of John Flanagan, three-times World and Olympic Champion for Hammer-throwing. They have commissioned a series of replica urns and artifacts unearthed in the 1930's at the Bronze Age site Cush, Co Limerick. They are building an archive of material about the local people and places, and welcome any information you may have that relates to the Kilfinane area.
