Tourist Attractions & Visitors Centres
Lough Gur Museum and Interpretative Centre is open:
✔️ Weekdays 10am to 5pm
✔️ Weekends 12pm to 6pm
Lough Gur Tours are available from 20th July 2020 and available to BOOK ONLINE NOW.
There is a core team of approximately 10 trained guides who can show the most historical sites in the area and who will pass on their knowledge in a friendly and informative manner.
Doneraile Court Tours re-opened to the public from 10am with the following restrictions:
✔️ Queuing system outside at the Cafe area (Cafe not yet open).
✔️ Strictly 4 people per tour.
✔️ Please arrive 10 minutes before tour time.
✔️ Public toilets are situated at the main car park beside the playground.
✔️ Guided tour only on the hour from 10am to 5pm.
✔️ Tours will take 30 minutes approx of the refurbished ground floor.
✔️ Ticketed visitors can also now visit the 18th and 19th-century walled gardens.
✔️ Contactless payment preferred.

Doneraile Wildlife Park is free to enter the attraction and is open to the public as per official opening hours.
Here are the dates of the upcoming dates for Guided Tours of The historic gardens of The Doneraile Estate.
✔️ Sunday 12th & 26th July
✔️ Sunday 9th & 23rd August
✔️ Sunday 13th & 27th September
Please assemble at the playground Carpark 2.30 where you will meet with the tour guide of the day and hear the interesting story of how the Gardens Of The Doneraile Estate were formed over 400years ago and hear how they are being restored today.

Mitchelstown Cave will reopen on the 29th of June from 10 am to 4.45 pm. Entry to the cave will be by bookings only.
Booking office hours 10:30 am to 5 pm.
Old Irish Ways - Museum of an impressive collection of antique, historical and novel items dating from Pre-Famine times to more nostalgic items from our more recent past. Open for bookings.
Lazy Dog Shooting Ground - pre-bookings required.
The Donkey Sanctuary - is currently closed !! for the public.
Ballyhoura Gardens & Garden Centres
Coolwater Garden - Strictly advance booking only, for tours at 11 am & 2.30 pm. Visits last for two hours.
Terra Nova Garden & Fairy Gift Shop -Open daily in July & August from 11am - 5pm (last entry at 4pm). All visits must be pre-booked, call 089 4028591 anytime between 10am and 4pm.
Ahern Nurseries & Plant Centre - Open 9.30am to 6pm Mon to Sat. Closed Sunday.
Rockbarton Garden Centre - Open from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. It's all outdoors so easy for keeping our social distance.
Just Roses - Open 7 days a week 10 am till dusk
Hennessy's Nurseries - Open 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, 12 noon to 6pm on Sundays.

Coillte's forest parks are all open including all waymarked walking trails and mountain bike trails.
