Launch of Ballyhoura Garden Experience 2020

The Ballyhoura Garden Experience, the immensely successful collection of gardening focused visitor attractions, all just off the R512 in Co. Limerick is now powering from strength to strength and has its new launch with its expanded range.

Expanding in numbers from the original participants, The Ballyhoura Garden Experience will now encompass three open gardens, Terra Nova in Dromin, Coolwater in Fedamore and Cahernorry Church & Garden in Ballyneety; three very attractive retail outlets, Just Roses in Kilfinane, Ahern Nurseries, Sherin’s Cross and Rockbarton Garden Centre; hospitality, as ever, is provided by the Deebert House Hotel in Kilmallock. A very satisfying day out indeed for those interested in gardening and all things horticultural.

Gardens.

Terra Nova, Limerick's award-winning garden, is, with its Fairy Garden and Fairy Gifts Shop, a big hit with children, Coolwater, a distinctively different garden to the norm, attracts horticulturists from all over the world and Cahernorry Church & Garden, this year's new entry, is designed and owned by Des Kingston, Super Garden winner in 2017. Three, markedly differently themed, gardens in Co. Limerick.

Horticultural Retail.

Just Roses is Ireland’s only specialist Rose Centre, Ahern Nurseries & Plant Centre, established in 1992 is justifiably well known all over the county and Rockbarton Garden Centre, situated in an 18thcentury courtyard, won the LEO Best Retail Business Award in 2019. Three, top of the range, horticultural outlets in Co. Limerick.

Hospitality.

And for elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, Deebert House Hotel provides it all.
