Cahernorry Church is a gothic limestone former Church of Ireland originally build in 1809. Over the past 30 years, Des & his family have sensitively restored the Church into their family home and have created stunning formal gardens within the one-acre site.

Des is a full-time garden designer, a Winner of RTE Super garden 2017 and Silver medallist at Bloom 2017. His garden contains statues, topiary, formal & informal ponds, a Round Tower, a stone circle and beautiful walls made from reclaimed brick. He also restored the four graves within the grounds out of respect for the deceased and their descendants.

  • Groups only (minimum 10 people)
  • The Church is not open to visitors.
  • Entrance fee €10 per person (Children Free)
  • Open from May to September by booking only
