Children's Gardening Class at Rockbarton

Children are more and more curious as to where our flowers and food come from particularly over the last few months, where we are spending more of our time in the garden.

Lynda from the Rockbarton Garden Centre is running a series of Children's Gardening Classes, where they will work in an outside environment to learn more about flowers, food and learning practical skills of planting.

The first class is being held on Saturday 19th September at 11 am. It will be outside, so coats and wellies are highly recommended.

Children don't need to bring anything else, as all materials will be provided.

During this first class, they will be learning all about Flower Bulbs, where they come from, how to plant them and take care of them over the coming months in time for some amazing Spring Flowers!

The class will run for 1 hour and is only €10 per child.
