Cycling Ireland: Ballyhoura Youth MTB Feb Mid-Term Camp
Get the kids out on the trails this February mid-term with the Ballyhoura Youth MTB Camp organised by Cycling Ireland!
Taking place at the beautiful Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails on 14th–15th February, this coached camp is perfect for young riders of all levels – from beginners finding their wheels to those keen to try or progress in Enduro. With fun, supportive morning and afternoon sessions led by experienced coaches, it’s all about building confidence, skills and a love of mountain biking in a safe, friendly environment.
Saturday, 14th February – Core Skills & Progression
09:00–12:00 — Beginners (Ages 10–18)
Perfect for riders new to MTB or coming from Cycle Right in school. Trail etiquette, braking, cornering & balance drills in a fun, relaxed setting.

12:30–15:30 — Intermediate Improvers (Ages 10–18)
Flow, cornering technique, gear use, and confident riding on green & blue trails.
Sunday, 15 February – Enduro-Focused Day
09:00–12:00 — Enduro Intro or Intermediates (Ages 12–18)
Line choice, body position and tackling steeper/technical features safely at an easy pace.
12:30–15:30 — Enduro Progression (Ages 12–18)
Speed control, line commitment, technical features and race-ready skills on Enduro-style trails.
Cycling Ireland membership is required for attendance to the camp, but this will offer access to all the camps through-out 2026. Your child becoming a member gives us the ability to offer more fun camps like this!
Please note: If your child was a registered CI Member previously, please renew the membership prior to attempting to book the camp

- MTB in good working order (please contact in advance if you require a rental bike for the Intermediate session)
