Our idea is simple – show up, enjoy some beer & pizza, chat and get to know those who try to make a social impact in Limerick and surrounding areas. They will present what they are trying to do and share small, day-to-day challenges they are facing. Then, we will ‘brainstorm’ a little to see if we can work something out to help them…

Transformative Community Education QQI Level 7 – 10 weeks

The Transformative Community Education programme introduces learners to theories and concepts of community education with a particular emphasis on a social action model. The module supports students to engage in reflective practice and to consider the implications of a social action model of community education in contemporary Ireland.

National Choral Singing Week 2018

Birds and Bats – similarities and differences

Ecologist and chair of Limerick Bat Group Tanya Slattery will give a presentation on birds and bats, exploring their evolution, their ecological habitats, and looking at the important roles that both play in natural and man made ecosystems.
