Ballyhoura Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann presents Hup na Houra, a unique traditional Irish music, song and dance show, in the Old Chapel Rooms, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick at 8pm on the 10thJuly 2017. Featuring some of Ireland’s finest performers including Derek Hickey (Accordion), Liam Flanagan (Fiddle), Ronan Ryan (Flute), Donal Clancy (guitar) and Deirdre Scanlan (Singer), Hup na Houra will be showcased on Mondays & Tuesday nights in July. Along with top quality music and song, experience traditional dancing at its best with a mix of step, set, sean-nos and brush dancing which is sure to thrill the audience.
Celebrating the history and life of the area, through music, song and dance, Hup na Houra is set in the beautiful newly restored Church of Ireland, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, nestled in the heart of Ballyhoura Country. This historical building, which is fast becoming one of Munster’s most exciting venues, lends itself to the atmosphere of the show, with haunting airs that reverberate within its atmospheric walls. The variety of uplifting dances and tunes will engage the audience and are bound to have you toe-tapping throughout the show Hup na Houra is part of the Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Seisiún programme; a music trail through Ireland.
