Mary and Ronan Stanley welcome you to Ballinacourty House. Situated in the beautiful Glen of Aherlow, our 18th century modernised home was once a stable complex, part of the Massey-Dawson estate which spanned 126,000 acres covering the greater part of the Glen of Aherlow. The original Ballinacourty House no longer exists, it waas destoryed by fire in the early 1920s.
The remaining building consists of our six bedrooms Bed & Breakfast, two self-catering cottages and our wonderful restaurants overlooking the 18th century cobble-stoned courtyard. The ideal place for catching up with family and friends, or relaxing after days of exploring. Chefs Ronan and Denis and all the team invite you to come, sit back and enjoy your meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, extensive wine and beer menu, a la carte, speciall offer and sunday lunch menus available.
All our recently renovated 1st floor bedrooms have beautiful courtyard or garden views. Delicious, freshly cooked breakfasts will set you up for the day. Once the coach rooms, cosy lounge adjoining the brekfast room, authentic charm. Catering for individuals to groups for the perfect gateaway on your own or with family and friends.
Perfect base for hill-walking, national looped walks start at gate. Galtee Mountain hikes, lineatr walks, suitable walks for everyone from the casual rambler to experienced climber. Convenient to Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Mitchelstown caves and Ballyhoura Mountain biking.
